About HYPR
Stocks explained for people who have never invested.
Most market tools are built for analysts. HYPR is built for the rest of us: one score per stock, the reasons behind it, and nothing you need a finance degree to read.
What the score is
A number from 1 to 99 for the last day, week and month. The heaviest input is the price move over the period, read on a fixed curve. The news adds or takes away up to ten points, from the share of articles that read positive minus the share that read negative. No model decides the score; the same data always gives the same number.
What it is not
It is not a prediction and not a recommendation. HYPR reports what its sources say and contains no price targets, no ratings, and no buy, sell or hold views. Prices are delayed.
Where the data comes from
Prices from Polygon, filings from the SEC, company financials from Fiscal, and news from a set of public feeds. Each stock page shows which sources contributed and when they last reported.
